Nigerians are gearing up for election and they are not sparing efforts to make sure the event goes hitch-free on February 16.

They are sharing tips to ensure they do not commit infractions on the election day.

Among the tips they share on social media are how to stay re-hydrated, how to effectively monitor collation of results and the use of mobile phones on polling booths.

Others suggest that people should avoid taking young children to the voting venue to avoid anything untoward.

“Be sure to locate your polling place before you go to vote. Don’t just go anywhere to vote, make sure you go to the local government where you registered and collected your voter’s card. #ElectionTips2019,” are one of the many advice dished out to potential voters.

Others advise people who do not have Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs) to stay away from polling boots so as not be arrested for election malpractice.

What it is worth, Nigerians seem excited and poised for Saturday’s election.
